Dr. Kuok obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with First Class from Penang International Dental College (PIDC) in 2011. He served in the public sector for two and a half years before joining Encia Dental Specialist, Kuala Lumpur as a general dentist with a special interest in periodontics from 2014 to 2017. During this period, he obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS RCSEd) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. 

He completed his specialist training in Periodontology (MClinDent) at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London in 2020 and obtained his Membership in Periodontology (MPerio RCSEd) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh later that year. He was also awarded a Certificate of Completion of Specialised Training (CCST) in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry by the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). 

Dr. Kuok is currently in private practice limited to periodontics and implant dentistry at Artius Dental Specialist Centre, Kuala Lumpur. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Periodontology at PIDC and is on the Editorial Board of the Malaysian Society of Periodontology (MSP). Dr Kuok is also an ITI (International Team For Implantology) Study Club Director of Malaysia and the Treasurer of the Asia Pacific Society of Osseointegration (APSO). Dr Kuok was appointed as a Dental Speciality Sub-Committee for Periodontology by the Malaysian Dental Council. His areas of interest include patient communication, periodontal surgery and digital implantology.
