Dr. Suriani Sukeri graduated with the qualification of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2002 from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). 

She undertook specialist training in the University of Leeds, UK and attained her Master of Dental Science in the field of Paediatric Dentistry in 2010. 

In the same year, she completed her Membership in Paediatric Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

After a year working in primary care setting in Taiping, she joined the speciality of Paediatric Dentistry in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and has never looked back. 

Her working experiences include working in Hospital Queen Elizabeth I, Kota Kinabalu as well as the Women and Children Hospital in Likas.

Dr. Suriani believes in Behavioral Management in treating children, which includes non-pharmacological and pharmacological approaches. 

She has special interest in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and has a Certificate of Competency in Inhalation Sedation in Paediatric Dentistry. This was an accredited course conducted in Leeds Dental Institute, UK.

Having served so many years in a hospital setting, she is well exposed to patients with special needs including those with medical conditions, cognitive impairment and children with traumatic dental injuries.

She understand that children are not small-sized adults and the approach to treating them should be customised to each individual need, with emphasise on preventing disease from happening.
