Dr. Yasmin Kamarudin completed her undergraduate dental studies at the University of Western Australia and graduated with honors in 2008.

Since then, she has completed her specialist training in orthodontics at the University of Bristol (UK), graduating in 2017 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). She was awarded the prestigious Harry Orton Prize for the best academic performance by a postgraduate student in the Bristol University Orthodontic DDS/MORth program. Additionally, she received membership in orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Starting her career in the Ministry of Health (MoH), Dr. Yasmin served as a dental officer in Negeri Sembilan between 2009 and 2014. This was followed by her appointment as a Specialist Training Registrar (StR) within the NHS at the Bristol Dental Hospital (UK) between 2014 and 2017.

Currently, she is a visiting Orthodontist at Artius Dental Centre and also works as an Orthodontic lecturer at the University of Malaya, where she supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. She is also an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of London Examinations.

She appreciates the importance of practicing evidence-based dentistry and is actively involved in conducting research within the university.
