After attaining First Class in his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS VMU) from the Penang International Dental College (PIDC) in 2015, Dr. Leong Yi Xian began his one and a half years of public service as a dental officer serving in Perak. Throughout this period, he gained invaluable experience in various specialties, including oral surgery and paediatric dentistry. Dr. Leong actively participated in numerous community outreach programmes, delivering personalised dental services tailored to the specific needs of indigenous communities residing in remote areas with limited access to dental health support.

Remaining committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Leong consistently attends conferences and courses organised by reputable dental institutions. He completed his Fellowship in Periodontology and Implantology from Genova University, Italy, in 2017. In April of the same year, he achieved Part I of The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng).

He further honed his expertise in implant dentistry with the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Foundation in 2022 and an Advanced Principles of Implant Dentistry course with ITI in 2023. Additionally, he underwent specialised training in Advanced Periodontology and Implant Surgery at the University of Michigan in 2023.

Currently, Dr. Leong holds notable leadership roles, serving as the President of the PIDC Alumni for the term 2023-2025, President of the Ancora Imparo Alumni Association for 2023-2024, and Secretary of the Digital Dental Association for 2023-2024.

Dr. Leong's passion lies in Periodontology and Dental Implant, a passion nurtured under the mentorship of  Dr. Jeanette Chua, the founder of Artius Dental.
